Pretty exciting time for me right now, as it didn’t look like Prodigal was going to see the light of day for a long time. However, things change. There are several developments/conversations I haven’t really gone into (which probably highlights my shortcomings as a blogger!), but regardless — I’m pumped about this latest development.

The weekend was spent trying to work out how best to promote the novel. As we all know, we live in a digital world. So obviously we’re talking about Facebook and Twitter. But there’s still a ton of value in traditional media, especially in smaller markets. So we’re pinpointing newspapers (gasp! there are some still around!), local radio and TV.

It would be nice to be with a major publisher who has an entire staff devoted to this sort of thing. But it’s also exciting to be involved like this.
