Hit the 1,500-word mark today. Uniquely terrifying process today — like trying to cross a flooded river by stepping on slick, algae-covered rocks. Felt like each word was a tottering step forward where I nearly lost my balance. And it took me forever, too.
I used to write 1,000 words in about an hour. Today’s quota took me nearly all day — with some time out in the middle for a fun little look at Meg Gardiner’s work.
Tomorrow, we’re going to look at one of my favorite authors, and why it may sadly be time for him to hang it up.
